The bathroom lacked proper ventilation, a real issue considering the city's humidity. This resulted in a persistent damp smell throughout the room. The air conditioner was far too loud, a situation I found really frustrating.. Sleeping with it on was impossible. Opening the window brought no relief due to the noise from outside.
